For more information on gypsy moth click here RUMMAGE SALE SIGNS As per Municipal Code 17.46(7)(e) & 17.70(4) temporary signs shall not be displayed in public rights of way and be at least 5 feet from all property lines and street right of way. Condominium Residents in Germantown The Village will be issuing carts for recycling materials beginning October 2010. An officer from each Condo Association should contact the Public Works Dept to work out the appropriate size cart to be used. Other residents in the Village can expect a 96-gallon recycling cart delivered in mid-September. Questions call Public Works at 262/250-4721. Wellhead Protection Ordinance Click Here Washington County will collect Household & Agricultural Hazardous Waste: Collection events are scheduled on Jun. 19th, Aug. 21st and Oct. 16th, 8 AM to 11 AM, at the Washington County Highway Facility, 900 Lang St., West Bend, WI. A fee of $10.00 per vehicle is required with advanced registration. Registration starts on May 17th by calling 262-335-4808. YEAR 2010 ROAD CONSTRUCTION: At their July 8, 2010 meeting, the Village Board awarded the following Village roadway improvement projects to Payne & Dolan. The following roads were awarded:- Carrington Cir. (Carriage Ave. to Carriage Ave.) and Carrington Ct.: Phase 2 neighborhood reconstruction. PASER condition rating: Carrington Cir 3 of 10 and Carrington Ct 5 of 10. Current to Sep. 3rd. Est. $286,500.
- Bonniwell Rd. (Division Rd. to Country Aire Dr.): Pulverize & overlay, with shoulder & ditch reconstruction. PASER condition rating 2 of 10. Current to Sep. 19th. Est. $646,500.
- Western Ave. (Mequon Rd. to Main St.): Batch patching followed by seal coating. PASER condition rating 5 of 10. Base patching completed 8/13/10. Seal coating pending. Est. $38,200.
- Holy Hill Rd. (Goldendale Rd. to Maple Rd.): Seal coating. PASER condition rating 5 of 10. Est. $21,100.
- Highland Rd. (Wasaukee Rd. to Mary Buth Ln.): Phase 1 base patching stabilization. PASER condition rating 3 of 10. Est. $48,000
YEAR 2011 ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS. The following projects are being considered for the Year 2011 budget, which is speculated to be around $1,041,000 (NOTE: The Year 2011 budget and roadway improvement projects has yet to be ratified by Village committees of jurisdiction and by Village Board).- Oak Ln (Park Hill Ln W to STH 175): Reconstruction and intercept groundwater seepage. PASER condition rating 3-4 of 10. Est. $200,000.
- Carriage Ave (Hawthorne Dr to Wagon Trl), Carriage Ct., and Hawthorne Dr (Carriage Ave to Scarlet Dr): Phase 3 neighborhood reconstruction. PASER condition rating 3 of 10. Est. $471,000.
- Maple Rd (Lovers Ln to 369 l.f. S of Dandee Dr): Phase 1 reconstruction. PASER condition rating 3-4 of 10. 1900 ADT (average daily traffic). Est. $220,000.
- Highland Rd (Mary Buth Ln to CTH M): Phase 2 base patching stabilization. PASER condition rating 3 of 10. Est. $50,000.
- Seal Coating: Est. $100,000.
- Cedar Ln (CTH G to Maple Rd): Pulverize & overlay. PASER condition rating of 4 of 10. 580 ADT (average daily traffic). Est. $280,000 (Cedar Ln is speculated to be bumped from Year 2011 because of low ADT as compared to Maple Rd and because of limited funding).
DONGES BAY ROAD STATUS: The Village submitted application for funding through the Wisconsin DOT's Surface Transportation Program - Urban (STP-U) by the Jul. 30, 2010 deadline. The application requested funding for design beginning in Year 2011 and funding construction beginning in Year 2014. The application budgeted for 3RA3 design criteria as prescribed by Wisconsin DOT Facilities Development Manual (FDM) Section 11-40 Attachment 1.2; however, the application requests that the design determine the ultimate design criteria. Public Informational Meetings (PIMs) will be conducted throughout the design process to provide opportunity for public input. The Village expects to receive response to the STP-U application from the Wisconsin DOT by Oct. 18, 2010. If the Wisconsin DOT approves the funding application, the agreement between the Wisconsin DOT and the Village must be ratified by the Public Works & Highway Committee and by the Village Board.

In Year 2011: S.T.H. "145" (Fond du Lac) from S.T.H. "167" (Mequon Rd) to S.T.H. "100" (Brown Deer Rd)
In Year 2014: S.T.H. "175" (Appleton Ave.) from Maple Rd. to S.T.H. "60" (Slinger Rd.)
In Year 2016: S.T.H. "145" (Mequon Rd. & Pilgrim Rd.) from Fond du Lac-Mequon intersection to Pilgrim-Fond du Lac intersection.
